The infamous 'Replay' side-quest that was introduced in Resident Evil 4 has been removed. Now, if you fall into a fight with a zombie, the game will automatically clear the screen and save the last chapter, giving you the opportunity to jump right into it at a later time. It's certainly a unique feature that makes the game replayable, but at the cost of a slightly confusing set of controls.
We've also made some small changes to the way the game loads when you start a new game. Now, the game will save the last chapter automatically, and not clear the screen.
As for the other issue, the diagonal folding puzzles have been fixed. They were introduced in the Japanese version, but were removed in the international release.
Other changes include an additional difficulty setting, new costumes, weapon balancing and tweaked camera angles. Check out the patch notes below for more information.

REPLAY REMOVED
A new option has been added to the options menu that allows you to prevent the game from saving replay in the same way the game saves the last chapter when you fall into a fight. The next time you start the game, the game will load from the start and allow you to play a fresh, unwiped chapter.
Other than that, the game has been optimized for harder difficulty settings.
